BANANA COFFEE BALLS (GRAIN FREE, GLUTEN FREE, DAIRY FREE, NUT FREE, PALEO, VEGAN)

These protein packed balls are a great breakfast option as well as a pre- or post-workout bite.

Ingredients:

-1 ripe banana

-2 tablespoons ground coffee (mild or intense, depending on personal preference. Add another spoonful if you’re a coffee person)

-1 tablespoon cacao powder

-1 tablespoon chicory root (optional)

-1 tablespoon hemp protein

-4 tablespoons coconut butter

-3/4 cup desiccated coconut

Directions:

-Chop the banana and throw it into your processor, pulsing until it becomes paste like.

-Add all the ingredients.

-Pulse until the mixture firms up and turns into dough.

-Place the mixture in a stainless steel bowl and roll into balls.

-Recipe renders around 10 balls.

-Refrigerate for an hour before serving. Keep refrigerated.
